Become Part of our Team!

Applications will be reviewed beginning March 1st, 2018 for our summer staff. We anticipate more applications than there are positions, and encourage early application. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a first-come first-serve basis.
An application must include the following:
~A completed 2018 Application Form (on-line) and 3 References.
~A completed Health History and Exam Form (adults & students).
~Doctors portion of form and immunization schedule.
~A photocopy of your Health Insurance Card (front & back).
~Your consent for us to obtain access to Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI )& Sexual Offender Record Information (SORI). A release document will be provided for you and is available with your application. A picture of a valid, government issued picture ID must accompany this form.
~Parent Permission Form (Must be signed by parent if under age 18)
~A current photograph of applicant must be submitted (electronic preferred).
Application or prior employment in no way guarantees a position. Experienced Counselors and those who have attended the CIT Program are encouraged to apply but in no way are guaranteed employment. Those returning to us will be given first consideration, but will be evaluated upon past performance and the entire pool of candidates.
All Staff must participate in Staff Orientation and Training which will include Red Cross First Aid & CPR Training. A minimum stipend of $125 per session will be paid. A bonus of $50 for senior counselors will be offered. An additional $25 per session is paid for lifeguards.
Camp Holy Cross is committed to a safe waterfront and is in need of certified lifeguards. Our guards are camp counselors who have additional waterfront duties.
We ask that you thoughtfully and prayerfully consider our Letter to Potential Staff, and decide if being a camp counselor is for you. It is a challenge, and we ask that you are sure that you are whole heartedly able to commit to it, if you chose to apply.
